Iona’s mother Marion Leigh was a trained homeopath working for Ian White’s Australian Bush Flower Essence trainings in the 80's before moving with the family to the Findhorn Foundation. Growing up with an anthroposophical Steiner-Waldorf education in a eco-village community, informed Iona’s comprehension of the spiritual world from a very young age. Iona went on to study Music Performance at Thames Valley University in London (specialising in the voice and harp), before combining her two great passions in life within her Masters in Music and Health (passed with distinction). In 2009, Iona returned to run the family business and teach Flower Essence in Findhorn with her mother. As Education Director, Iona wished to further her studies and went on to study with Medical Director Dr Rosy Daniel, graduating with top marks in 2020 as a Health Creation Mentor. In 2019, Iona's became the FFE MD and it is her deep passion for music, nature, essences and healing informs her work in her business, therapy, and family life with her partner and three children.
